My new last name is HOPE
With some trepidation, I went back to my inner darkness looking for light.
And when your whole world is upside down,
is where you actually find your strength.
I found myself lightening a candle every night.
I found myself kneeling down and praying.
is where you actually find your strength.
I found myself lightening a candle every night.
I found myself kneeling down and praying.
After 40 days at the hospital,
my daddy finally opens his eyes and starts talking again.
He's reacting really well to all the meds, and still manages to make me proud
on the top of his 79 years of age, very well lived.
Thank you for fighting for life, daddy.
You're my my eternal hero and my biggest inspiration ♥

Beach Bound!
I know everyone in the northern hemisphere is in a 'fall state of mind',
but down here, my friends, it's still summer.
The sea is calling my name and there's no place I'd rather be in these next few days.
I feel so fortunate being able to indulge in boat rides all year long.
(besides the amazing Brazilian barbecues and mimosas at the beach)
Sending sunny wishes your way!

The inner beauty of a confident woman
There is an inner beauty about a woman who believes in herself,
who knows she is capable of anything that she puts her mind to.
There is a beauty in the strength and determination of a woman who follows her own path,
who isn’t thrown off by obstacles along the way.
There is a beauty about a woman whose confidence comes from experiences;
who knows she can fall, pick herself up, and move on.
