Pink and Blue!

Don't you love the combination of Hot Pink and Navy blue??

This same color combo can be carried out on interiors, as they make perfect accent colors!

The principle behind this vivid match is the 'triad color coordination':
when colors are on equal distance from each other on the color wheel.
(examples: blue+ red +yellow / green+ violet + orange)

On Grey Mode

If you know me, you know that I am a huge fan of grey, silvers, and platinum!

Such an elegant and sophisticated color,
Grey is the combination - but not as dramatic - of black and white,
and is also the most neutral shade.

It goes well with any other color, since it makes a statement without dominating the look.

In Feng Shui, 'Silvery' colors can bring a beautiful and clear energy into your home.

Go on and let your home shine!

Feeling orange!

Life is filled with color - cheeks are flushed with pink,
eggplant is deep purple, red is all over our hearts, blue is the color of cold
and even the races of humans are distinguished by the colors of
white, black, brown and yellow.

Colors evokes the most basic emotions,
and is glued to the very core of existence,
influencing the mind and body.

I realize that my life, with all the (many) ups and downs,
is still completely filled with beautiful people (big and small - but especially the small!)
and divine connections that keep showing up somehow, coloring my pages.

From dark and grey to bright and orange...
I feel like the universe is finally turning to my side, God is in my favor and
he even managed to bring me a 'tactical heaven enforcement' angel to make me smile
every single time I get ready to fall down.

"Colors affects our moods, whether it is in our living and working environments,
or in the clothing that we wear. We feel energized and uplifted by some colors,
calmed and quieted by others"
(Benjamin Moore)

Put some color into your life!
... something most people never do.

Home Inspiration: Purple walls

Lilac, violet, lavender, grape or plum??
The secret is to choose the shade that compliments your personality
and the character of your home.

Below are some very inspiring interiors using great hues.
But if you are not ready to make the change, start with a pretty vase of purple orchids!

Home Inspiration: Pink and Gray

I wear this color combination all the time,
and one of these days, while I was getting dressed to go to work,
my mirror reveled how beautiful it would be if I had pink and gray in my interiors as well.

Having brand new ideas for a new home!
Thanks to my cloudy gray work pants and my honeysuckle pink polo.

Home Inspiration: pure white

There is something enchanting about white.
Not only is perfectly compatible with any other color,
but also gives striking contrast if combined with vibrant tones.
The main advantage to use white is to visually enlarge any interior.

Ethereal is the word that comes to my mind when I look at these inspirational images.

Home Inspiration: Navy blue and white

Nautical. For those who love the sea!
Navy blue represents the sport of yachting,
but you can also bring this theme to your home.
It is a mysterious, classic and timeless look.

See you at the beach!

Home Inspiration: neutral colors

I often blog about bold hues, dramatic ideas and impactful interiors.
That's my latin personality, I think. Not - at all - afraid of colors.
But once in a blue moon, I find myself craving for shades of beige, tan and khaki.

You can play it safe and go with pastels throughout the house
if you ever want to create an oasis of tranquility.
It looks beautiful, bright and airy.
