Thankful for what it is

What a lovely valentine's! - (And I don't even like the day)

It's 7:15am and it's time to get back to my bittersweet reality,
but you know what? a cup of coffee tastes even better when served in a vintage porcelain tiny cup, accompanied by homemade chocolate cake,
and while watching the busy street scene outside my porch.

And today is going to be a good day!

Aos interessados, de pé na fila...

Para me conquistar, basta dizer aquilo que nunca ouvi de ninguém.

Tem que vestir como homem, e não como 'metro' ou gay.

Tem que saber entrar e sair da minha rotina (sem que eu note),

saber ficar em silêncio e assim me dizer tudo!

Tem que gostar de musica como eu gosto,

ser caseiro mas gostar da presença dos nossos poucos e bons amigos, 

tem que amar a minha familia com todos os 'nossos defeitos',

aceitar o meu passado e compreender a vida como ela realmente é.

Tem que 'ter pegada' mas ser nada galinha,

tem que ter vontade de ser um 'homem de familia', 

saber ser 'homem com H', forte e doce, bem clássico, bem mesmo na moda antiga.

Tem que apreciar as artes e gostar de viajar.

Tem que ter a personalidade forte, mas ser simples. Muito simples.

Tem que ser Brasileiro e ter orgulho disso.

Tem que querer me proteger, mesmo sabendo que não preciso de proteção.

Tem que gostar de coisas materiais e boas sim, 
mas buscar o lado espiritual, o lado puro, o lado de Deus acima de tudo!

Tem que saber a hora exata de chegar, ficar, e de ir embora ... (mas por favor não ir)

Feeling orange!

Life is filled with color - cheeks are flushed with pink,

Colors evokes the most basic emotions, 

and is glued to the very core of existence,

influencing the mind and body.

I realize that my life, with all the (many) ups and downs,

is still completely filled with beautiful people (big and small - but especially the small!)

and divine connections that keep showing up somehow, coloring my pages.

From dark and grey to bright and orange... 

I feel like the universe is finally turning to my side, God is in my favor and 

he even managed to bring me a 'tactical heaven enforcement' angel to make me smile 

every single time I get ready to fall down.
